Bad Beat Jackpot Growing at the Empire Casino

Already over 24K after just three weeks

If you haven't already heard, the Empire Casino recently introduced a Bad Beat Jackpot. They stuck in a nice 10K to start with and after almost three weeks it's already over 24K and growing!

The Bad Beat Jackpot is offered on all House Dealer dealt Texas Holdem cash games. The dealer takes a £1 from each eligible pot, which is defined as:
- Hand must see the flop
- Pot must be £25 minimum before rake is extracted
- Hand must be dealt by house dealer
- Jackpot only offered on Texas holdem cash games

Some other rules:
- To win the Jackpot a player must be beaten at showdown
- The minimum (lowest ranked) hand to qualify is four-of-a-kind with 2's
- Both the player holding the Bad Beat Hand and the player with the winning hand must use both their hole cards in the construction of their hands
- A minimum of 4 players must take part (receive cards) in the Jackpot hand

Payout:
All players at the table get paid, so everyone''s happy!
- 50% goes to the Bad Beat Hand
- 25% goes to the winning hand
- 25% is distributed evenly amongst all players who were dealt cards in the hand
