Blackbelt Poker goes live at the Vic

Black Belt Poker are going live with the Black Belt London Live which will take place at the Grosvenor Victoria Casino in London.

The event will be a $200+20 No Limit Hold'em freezeout and will run for three days from Friday March 12 to Sunday March 14. With starting stacks of 20,000 and a 45 minute clock, it's a pretty deep structure.

If they reach the max 300 runners the prize pool will be $60,000 with $15,000 going to the first prize winner. Take down the trophy as a Black Belt Poker Purple Belt and win an extra $15,000. Capture first as a Green Belt or higher and win an extra $25,000.

For those not in the know, Blackbelt Poker is an online mentoring and staking venture started by Neil Channing with its own online poker room, social network, and online training. To join this tournament you need to be a member of Blackbelt Poker.

They have invited a number of familiar faces to participate in the event with the likes of Neil Channing, Nik Persaud, James Akenhead, Richard Ashby, Praz Bansi, Julian Thew, Marty Smyth and Jesse May already confirmed. These guys will be bounties and those who eliminate them will receive a signed belt, photo, and item of memorabilia brought to the event by that particular bounty.
