Recommended. Overall good. Varied mix of tournies- well run. The afternoon tournies are relaxed & generally good experiences. I've never had any problems like foreign language being spoken at the table. Food is OK. Staff are mostly pleasant and good humoured. The standard of play is reasonable not really sharky but not too soft- occasionally fishy tourists amble in. Only neg I can think of is the 'dealer bonus' which everyone buys so effectively the buy in can be prohibitive - for example £20 tourney will cost you £8 to enter (£5+£3).

THE ATMOSPHERE IS COMPARATIVELY GOOD BUT THE DEALERS ARE LIKE A RULER WHO DONT WANT TO BOTHER ABOUT OTHERS. IF YOU ASK ANYTHING, YOU WILL BE TREATED LIKE AN IDIOT..SURELY, ITS THE BEST PLACE TO PLAY CASH GAMES BUT TO SAVE THE REPUTATION OF THIS CLUB THEY HAVE TO RE-TRAIN THEIR DEALERS..SPECIALLY IN THE WAY OF PUBLIC RELATION AND GOOD BEHAVIOUR..I WANT TO GIVE 2 STARS RATING BUT AT THIS MOMENT OF TIME, 1 STAR IS MORE THAN ENOUGH..I HOPE THE READER OF MY COMMENTS WILL TRY TO UNDERSTAND WHAT I MEAN TO CONVEY..GOOD LUCK TO ALL..THIS WAS MY LAST VISIT TO THE CLUB, WILL NEVER VISIT AGAIN..GOODBYE..

4 stars out of 5 Best structures in London , 28 Mar 2012
By P Dog

I'm a semi-reg, and from all the venues, I'd say this one is the best in terms of offering a mix of low/mid range buy-ins with good structures. The only places I go to for tournaments are the Fox and The International, but I prefer The Fox as it's not too cliquey. The rest of the venues in London are more or less crapshooty IMO.

1 stars out of 5 £10 registration fee , 5 Jan 2012

Complete con. Not free registration whatsoever! £10 to register for entry to the club! Not worth it in my opinion.

Deepstack tourneys = Best tourneys in doubt, this is honestly the only tournaments in london that I actually enjoy, 100% recomend pass by and check the structure out

5 stars out of 5 nice addition to london , 3 Dec 2010
By Hung

Great location with cheap parking, probably the best location of all rooms in London as you can always nip out for drinks/good food (china town) before or after. Good action on the cash tables, and tournie mix is really good. nice atmosphere, and not cliquey like some clubs which I have found in the vic and the international... sunday roast is good too :)

great central location. Nice 1/1 cash games round of each on request. The £5.00 sunday lunch is the best in any poker club in London. there is a small smoking area. Downsides: closes at 3am. getting a taxi is a nightmare and airconditioning horrible. Good tournie mix

2 stars out of 5 nice venue shame about the attitude , 18 Feb 2012
By Biggy

Visited the FPC on a weekend trip to london. Was impressed with the set up and the venue was clean. Only thing letting it down was the attitude of the staff. From trying to register through to buying a beer was a chore! you would think they would welcome a new member and the £10 you need to pay to register but no! The dealers were very Rude, perhaps working too many hours. I was sat next to the dealer in seat one and couldnt follow the action on the other side of the dealer and was chastised for having to ask what the bet was etc. This happened on a few tables with different dealers You shouldnt feel intimidated to aks the dealer a question on a dealer dealt game. It made me very uncomfortable. Why be a dealer if you have absolutely no people skills or any interest in the game your dealing. Bar staff also couldnt give a f**k. But this seems to be the London way! Apart from the staff, the venue and structures are pretty good and some good cash game action to. If you are a beginner and a bit nervous about going to a card room for the first time. This is not the place for you. They do not make it easy for you and make you feel like an idiot for asking.

5 stars out of 5 Future of Poker in London , 24 Jan 2011
By The World

As the Fox's reputation is expanding and improving, so does its structure, quality of services and standards of poker being provided by the club. The cash games are lively, with a relatively good mix of players (by mix i mean from novice to ). You'll find the usual shark there sitting in front of £400 on a 1-1 table although the placeis not too infected yet. You'll get more than a reasonable chance there to make a profit.. Staffs are young and cool. The toilets are clean. Havent tried the food yet but it doesnt look bad. The 24h licence is on its way! There's a wide range of tourneys being played there which the Fox and PKR seem to be willing to innovate and/or ameliorate (the "round of each" either tourney or cash game). Hopefully they will carry on that way...
