Mint Casino

3.5 stars out of 5 (1 reviews)
Mint Casino opened in January 2009. Its small, intimate setting and affordable stakes make it a fun night and a good stop for the beginner poker player. Their £5 buffet ain't that bad either!

Tournaments

Day Buyin Gametype Format Starts Freq.
Wednesday £20 NL Holdem Rebuys 20:30 pm weekly
Friday £30 NL Holdem Rebuys 20:30 pm weekly
Saturday £10 NL Holdem Rebuys 20:30 pm weekly

Background

Mint Casino is a part of Genting Casinos (who also run the Palm Beach Casino), and Mint caters to the lower stakes and beginner poker players. This cardroom only opened in January 2009, and is still relatively unknown. Their tournaments are 3 times a week, but they have cash games every night.

The tournament buy-ins range from £10 - £30 so they cater more to low stakes and/or beginner poker players.

Membership

Membership is free, just bring id and you should be good to go.

Food & Drink

Food at Mint Casino is pretty good value for money. You can get sandwiches for £1 and their buffet in the evening only cost £3.50 if you are playing.

Cash games

Cash games are on every night from 8pm. They are all dealer dealt and it is purely £1-£2 NL Holdem. Rake is 5% capped at £10.

Tournaments

All tournaments are dealer dealt. As the cardroom is still pretty new, you will find about 25-30 runners in their tournaments. (Tournament details may change on short notice however - please contact the cardroom directly to confirm tournament details)
