Tournaments

Naturally, all tournaments are dealer dealt. They run on Mondays, Wednesday, Thursdays, and Sundays. The first Monday of every month features a £1000 Freezeout. You will typically find 40-50 runners at their tournaments. (Tournament details may change on short notice however - please contact the cardroom directly to confirm tournament details)

Cash Games

Cash games are on four nights a week. On the nights of tournaments, they usually begin when players start busting out of tournaments. There are regularly £5-£5 (min £250 sit-down) NL Holdem games, and sometimes £5 - £10 NL Holdem (£500 min sit-down). There is a table fee of £7.50 per half-hour for cash games.

Background

Located in the heart of Mayfair, Palm Beach Casino is part of the 5-star Mayfair Hotel. The cardroom has 6 tables and can host up to 60 players.

This cardroom clearly caters to the high stakes poker player.It used to be mainly rich tourists and businessmen but you now get pros coming now too.

The casino closed briefly in Nov 2008, but reopened in March 2009, and since then the cardroom has been busier than it has ever been.

The Palm Beach has grown into one of the premiere venues for major poker events. In September-October the casino will be hosting the WPT London Classic, the Party Poker World Open, and the English Poker Open.

Membership

You actually don't have to become a member to play at Palm Beach Casino, but you won't be able to collect more than £1500 if you aren't. So if you do end up winning anything , you are going to have to be a member!

Food & Drink

Food from the main restaurant ranges from modern International and Chinese to Indian and Middle Eastern, and a full vegetarian menu. Soft drinks and tea, coffee is complimentary if you are playing poker.
