There's no cardroom that's more convenient to go to than Casino at the Empire. Located smack in the middle of Leicester Square, open 24/7, and you don't even need to become a member to play. There's always action, and very loose action at that.

The International is a popular cardroom located near Old St. It is always busy, has great promotions, and is the only cardroom with a proper loyalty scheme for its players. When the International opened in 2008, it brought along many of the staff and players from the Gutshot cardroom.

Better known as The Vic, this casino cardroom is a poker landmark in the UK, and the spot for high stakes cash games in London. This is a classy cardroom, extremely well-run, and boasts the widest variety of games and stakes you will find in London. It's not unusual to spot the odd poker pro playing at one of the tables.

The River Card Club is located way up in Stanmore in North London. It's quite a small cardroom, with a very friendly and social atmosphere. If you live in North London, this cardroom is worth checking out.

The Royal Surrey

The Royal Surrey is a great venue with nice, new facilities. There are three floors all under one roof - a pub with live entertainment on the ground floor, a snooker hall on the top floor, and their cardroom in the middle. So it doesn't have to be all about poker at the Royal Surrey.

The Western Club is one of the largest cardrooms in the UK, located in West London in Acton. The whole premises covers 11,000 sq. feet and they can host up to 300 players at a time. This is a busy cardroom with both afternoon and evening tournaments, and cash games at varied stakes.
